Mr Masha Singh

Skin Cancer Specialist · Consultant Plastic Surgeon

Mr Masha Singh is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon with a specialist focus on skin cancer surgery and reconstruction. He qualified from St George's Hospital Medical School in London in 2006, completing his medical degree alongside a BSc(Hons) in Biochemistry and Immunology.

Following specialist plastic surgery training in London, Mr Singh became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and joined the GMC Specialist Register. He undertook a prestigious fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital, the UK's leading cancer centre, specialising in the management of skin cancer and complex cancer reconstruction. He also holds a postgraduate Master's in Surgical Science from Imperial College London, awarded with Distinction.

Mr Singh currently works as an NHS Consultant at St George's Hospital — one of the busiest skin cancer units in the UK and the hospital that pioneered sentinel node biopsy for melanoma. He sits on and regularly leads the Specialist Skin Cancer MDT at St George's, attends the Local Skin Cancer MDT at Croydon University Hospital weekly, and participates in specialist multidisciplinary clinics involving Dermatology, Oncology and Plastic Surgery colleagues with Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialists. He is able to discuss all treatment options including surgery, Mohs surgery, reconstructive options, radiotherapy, cryotherapy and topical treatments.

Mr Singh is actively involved in international clinical research. He was Principal Investigator of the EORTC Mini-Tub trial at St George's Hospital, a landmark randomised controlled trial in melanoma management, and has recruited patients for a range of international skin cancer studies. He is a professional member of Melanoma Focus UK, the leading UK melanoma charity. Alongside his clinical work he has authored articles and book chapters, and presents his research at national and international scientific meetings including BAPRAS, ABS and BSSH.
